Celebrates 75 YEARS!!! Le Petit: Yesterday, Today & TomorrowYou are invited to participate in the Esther Awards/Diamond Anniversary Gala on Sunday, June 2, at the Houma Municipal Auditorium. Doors open at 11:30 and the scrumptious brunch menu begins at noon with complimentary Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Guests will enjoy their meal while listening to a talented ensemble from the Nicholls State University Music Department, viewing a power point presentation of actors/actresses from yesteryear to the present and browsing through a sizable number of silent auction items. The presentation ceremony begins at 2:00 with a brief history of Le Petit followed by the awards presentation. Between each award, attendees will be entertained by a host of individuals who have graced the stage of Le Petit over the years. Songs and comedy skits from previous and future Le Petit productions will be performed by Ellis Larose (singing the title song from Le Petit’s first musical), Sue Peace, Ron Hornsby, Edwina Yakupzack, Kami Ellender, Jeanne Scott, Raymond Saadi and a host of others yet to be confirmed. Presenters of each award will be individuals who have worked closely with Le Petit in previous years. The event promises to be an entertaining walk down memory lane while getting Le Petit ready for the next 75 years. Tickets are $50 per person for nearly four hours of entertainment and a wonderful meal.
