More About the Piece:
LePetit’s second show of the season, directed by Ouida Best, is
C.B Gilford’s “Bull In a China Shop.” Come and meet
our six old ladies—presumed sweet until they prove otherwise—and
the handsome homicide detective who lives across the street from them.
Enjoy the ladies’ unique solution to the problem of getting that
detective, Dennis O’Finn, to pay them a visit. You’ll find
that a nice genteel homicide, with a cup of tea as the murder weapon, is
all it takes. However, when Detective O’Finn discovers he’s
the motive for this murder, and he decides to distance himself from the
ladies, what are the sweet dears to do?
The ladies you’ll meet are Hildegarde Hodge, (Edwina Yakupzack),
Birdie, (Gayle Walters), Amantha, (Pat Hornsby-Crochet), Lucy, (Hope
Theriot), Nettie, (Jeanne Scott) and Elizabeth, (Robyn Hornsby).
Doug Holloway plays the handsome detective O’Finn, and Joel Walron
plays Detective Kramer. Rounding out the cast are Ani Ashley in the
role of Jane Rogers, the intrusive reporter, and Carlyle Jukes, who
plays Johnson, the “fingerprint expert.” Red Hornsby and
Bud Barnes are the stretcher-bearers. |
